K9 Pet Foods began 30 years ago, when Jill and Terry started the family business here in Hawke’s Bay. After being part of the family business for many years, Rebecca and Dexter saw an opportunity to make K9 more accessible to local pet owners.
The Hastings store grew from that idea — somewhere you could shop the range directly, discover more options and get practical help with what you’re feeding.
Today, you'll find raw food alongside natural treats and chews, biscuits, supplements and everyday pet essentials — all under one roof.
But what makes the store different isn't just what's on the shelves.
Anthony brings years of hands-on experience in raw feeding and pet nutrition, helping customers every week with everything from getting started to feeding amounts, fussy eaters and changing nutritional needs.
For us, good pet food retail is as much about knowing what to choose as having plenty to choose from.
